In Jazz Class...

Rip, Tear, Shred.
Fabric falls away from my ghostly silhouette,
Skin shines as lucid pale paper.
I am as translucent as stained glass;
showing a beautiful interior when you peer through,
but in all honesty, I am rather plain now.
But,
Once Upon A Time I was
A Romantic
A dark Ophelia
An Interesting blond
A soul Lost to secrecy
A multi-Dater
A Loving being
An Empathic mind
An Empty shell
A Cry in the wind
A Rebel
A Broken soul
An Overachiever
Shallow
An imaginative Process
Deep
A Logical girl
A Dreamer
A Leader
A withering Body
A Mover

All things were once my identity
and now I am attempting to be the greatest thing,
God's Child.
but when it gets hard
I long for my old identities
and I feel Shame.
